Rocksbox Jewelry Box #4

8:30 AM

It's been a while since I've received a Rocksbox. I subscribed to it before, but at the time, I had a lot of jewelry in my closet and didn't have a need for more, even if it was rotating in and out of my closet every few weeks. But after my annual spring cleaning binge, I only had a few jewelry pieces leftover. So I took the opportunity to resubscribe to Rocksbox, hoping I can find some beautiful accessories to add to my collection.

Rocksbox Jewelry Rental Subscription

For those of you who don't know, Rocksbox is a jewelry rental subscription box. Each month, you pay $21 to rent 3 pieces of jewelry at a time. Once it arrives, you can wear them for as long as you want before returning your current box for a new one. You have the option of making a purchase from your set and the $21 monthly fee will be applied as a discount to the full price of the accessory.

Note that you can receive more than one box in a month. You'll still pay $21/month regardless of how many boxes you receive. So if you rotate jewelry pieces often, this is perfect for you!

Here's my full box this month:

Perry Street Flora Statement Earrings in Gold & Cream

I don't always wear statement earrings, but ever now and then, I will. If I'm wearing a plain black jumpsuit for example, I'll pair it with statement earrings or statement necklace since they will really pop with a plain background. Though I love how these look sitting on the plastic card, they don't look as nice on my ear. You can't see the gold, the white beads are pretty much covering them. I was a little disappointed. I wore them out still, but wasn't in love with them. These will be a return.

Shashi Nicole Drop Earrings in Gold

These are very pretty, I love the dainty feel to these earrings. I didn't realize the chain connects to the earring back until I tried on the earrings. I didn't love it as much then. It looks disconnected having the dangly chain hang from the back than the front. This was definitely going back after me wearing it.

Aster Zinnia Ring in Labradorite Size 6

This was my favorite jewelry piece of the box. I love how simple this ring is and how beautiful the labradorite looks when the sun hits it. It's a big ring (I tend to wear dainty rings), but it doesn't feel overwhelming or too much at all. I was so close to purchasing it. I really, really like this ring. With the warmer weather upon us, I wanted something that felt more spring/summer. If there's a lighter colored option, I would have purchased in a heartbeat.
