DIY Bridal Party Proposal Boxes

8:30 AM

I'm SO excited about this post. I've been wanting to post this for the past month, but I wanted to propose to my bridal party first before I share this so they wouldn't know it was coming. Of course, being a DIY-er, I knew I couldn't just ask my bridesmaids & bridesmen to be a part of my bridal party. I had to do it in a creative and fun way. So...what's inside the box?

Inside the pretty little box is a DIY'd Bridesmaid tee (Bridesmen also got a t-shirt, but it's less sparkly and doesn't have sequins on the shirt) and a small bottle of Prosecco with a cute gold, striped straw. Cute, right? I am also in love with this box. It's from Sugar Paper from Target, on sale for just $2.50! It was in the Christmas sale section, but I couldn't find enough boxes for everyone, so I only gave my Maid of Honor one. The rest of my bridal party got the shirt & prosecco in an adorable gift bag.

To top it off, I created a paper diamond ring that says "Will you be my bridesmaid" on the band. I'm one of the first of my friends to get married, so a lot of them were unsure of what the bridal party actually does. I created a duties sheet to help my bridal party (and me!) understand what their responsibilities are.

  2. Love the bridal party boxes! I would love to see what the groomsmen got too, out of curiosity. It's really too bad that Target didn't have any more of the boxes, because they are super cute. I like the duties sheet you made. I think it's helpful, even if it's just a reminder for you too. =0) Wedding planning can be a crazy chaotic time, so a duty sheet as a reminder can come in very handy.

  3. This is such a cute idea! Love the box and what you placed inside. I can't wait to see what you'll be making for your wedding decor. Thank you for sharing at The Really Crafty Link Party. Pinned!
